Get to Know Your Green Moms Network Bloggers
Green Moms Network has many great eco-friendly bloggers. However, it can be hard to really get to know these bloggers through GMN with just a snippet of their work here and there. To help you get better acquainted with these wonderful bloggers, Green Moms Network will be interviewing them. This way you can learn why they have chosen to live a green lifestyle and what their blog is all about.
This weeks featured member is Megan from HEN Family. After reading her interview make sure to check out her blog so you can read some of her great blog posts!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Ive been working as a freelance writer and editor for the past 8 years, living around the world but am back in my hometown for now as we start our family. I have one 3 year old very spirited son and another baby due very soon. I love to travel, love spending days at the beach, gardening, being outside, hiking, baking and making smoothies, and I always enjoy a good cup of tea.
How did your blog get started?
I started HEN Family as a way to share information, products, recipes and tips with others to help green their life. I wanted to make it easier for the average family.

Childcare pregnancy, baby, children items and tips

Started shopping locally for food and really focusing on what I was eating, where it was coming from.

Wading through the many products that are not actually natural or good.
What has been the most rewarding thing about living green?
Feeling the effects of healthy eating and knowing I am doing my part to cut down on consumption and waste.
Time to confess! What is something you are currently doing that is not green?
Using paper towels! We cut them out a few years ago but have recently started buying them (sustainable ones) as we were going through so many rags instead with a little one.
